The Wylie 75098 Blog has been created by Jude Sutton to share with
the world information about our Community here in Wylie Texas.
This blog is all about Wylie Texas. I am a retired Executive Chef
who moved to Wylie about 9 years ago. In the year 2000 the U.S.
Census showed Wylie to be at 15,000+ pop., and since then it has
exploded and is currently at 32,696 with a projected population
of 39,000+ by the end of this year (2008).
Wylie is a suburb of Dallas Texas and is located about 19 miles
northeast of downtown Dallas, as the crow flies. It is listed by
the State of Texas as well as Nationally as the fastest growing
suburb for Dallas. With that growth New People, Industry, and
Retail businesses are arriving almost daily. New Home construction
is flourishing and the City is taking the necessary steps to
accommodate that growth.
In early 2007 I joined a website called Cagora.com. It is a
massive Social and Business Network with 20,000+ Local and
Special Interest communities. They offer a Community Partnership
program and Wylie Texas was one which was available, so I’ve
become the Community Partner for the Wylie community. You can

I felt it was time that someone made others aware of this great
little town. I will endeavor to bring you information which is
accurate and relevant.
